ATTENTION ANUPAMA MAAM : Great initiative but please dont turn into a ZOOM. Hope u will strive to verify every piece of news u report on. Also please dont censor the comment section. Of course go hammer and tongs against hate speech and abusive threats. But dont strike down comments just because they are critical of your content. There are anyways very few spaces remaining that uphold free speech. You need to do so too , to truly be our " companion to cinema" . Or else you end up becoming a " companion for production houses marketing division". The choice on what to be is truly yours. Good luck on this journey.

I can trust Aamir and Mr Bachchan. I can trust YRF. But I cannot trust Vijay Krishna Acharya. Koi kaarnama na kar baithe ho Vijay bhai.

Why bring in nepotism when it was not needed here at all? And forcefully try to couch it in humour? First you say, content trumps everything and then that nepotism can be good. I know you mentioned in two separate contexts and meant it in a lighter vein, but even so, it sounded tone deaf, especially considering the current, absolutely justified controversy around it. You had made a similar, tongue-in-cheek comment about the same topic earlier which also didn't go over well (something on the lines of - If nepotism gives us great actors like Alia and Ranbir, you are all for it) And you had to clarify the intent behind it later. Please consider checking your personal previlege; the inherent unfairness involved in the topic justly makes people smart. Please reconsider your attempts to sound flippant about it; those on the losing end of the equation are not amused.

Interesting peppy stuff. Anupama chooses to end it up with "Sometimes, nepotism is good!". What a dud!

Loving this new section! Want some sensible news of the industry I love. Though one suggestion - Please leave out the 'up next' banner flashing below the screen. It's a 4 minute segment, you don't need to tell me what's up next to keep me hooked to the screen. It was a distraction as already there was a lot going on on the screen. Aside from that, looking forward to more every Saturday!

Its sad that so much censor & extra-censor hyper-scrutiny is faced by movie makers in India. The fact of the matter is that so much grotesque stuff actually happens in real life. But even a slice of that isn't allowed to be depicted on screen. We as a society seem more offended by the reel than by the real. On a lighter note: We should start making movies in a new language called 'beep language'. & filmbuffs would have to learn that language to enjoy the cinema ...

Nice show! I have a small suggestion though - it's just an idea I like, maybe not everyone will like or need it, so just think about it. Since you are doing multiple bits of news consecutively, maybe consider having a short vertical list of each point on one side of the page, and go down that list as you talk about each point, highlighting it on the list as you do. That will let viewers more easily visualize the total news they will see in the video as well as what you are talking about at the moment. For example, the US Sports show 'Pardon the Interruption' did this well (although they also gave themselves a timer, which you don't need), take a look: https://youtu.be/easuOl6Qc4E?t=174 The only drawback is that it takes up a bit of space on the side of the screen, but I think if you are creative you can make it work. Thanks, and keep up the nice work :)
