11:15 That's cool. In the Novel IT Eddie's mom says say's that to Eddie in the shoes store. It's more dramatic of course, but it's cool to see where some of his ideas come from.

This is incredible. King isn't 30 years old yet in this. Straub and King cowrote Talisman and Black House.

I know this has nothing to do with an of the people here but I am reading The Exorcist and i think the book is way scarier than the movie because its more mental you make it up how your mind makes it look. More about the statement of "You cant write a hand pops out the ground and it have the same affect on people" i think it false our minds are the scariest thing we have and if we imagine it as were reading than yes it can have an affect on people

King is especially good here, tho he's usually funny, but Romero has the best insights 31:03 was that intentional? nervous tick? if a joke, no one found it funny

Dick Cavitt is literally painful to watch/listen to as a host!! He has the most phenomenal group of men in the world, all together at ONE TIME to interview, and he couldn't seem less interested!!

I've read almost everything Ira Levin wrote, and I have to say I feel he's a social satirist first and a horror writer later. He uses horror to say things in the same way that Rod Serling did in Twilight Zone, only with a sharper, more satirical edge.
