Can white people say the word nigga? Often called the N-word, and allegedly only allowed to be uttered by black people, the word nigga is surrounded by controversy. Many people claim it's racist if a white person simply utters the word out loud, even when singing along to a rap song, so media analyst Mark Dice talks to black people to see what they think. © 2016 by Mark Dice --- Order Mark's New Book THE ILLUMINATI IN HOLLYWOOD-- In Paperback on Amazon.com

The bottom line is if you use the word and then get offended when others do you're a hypocrite.

I grew up with a fairly religious family. My mom always told me "don't use the lord's name in vain," which pretty much meant I couldn't say "Oh my God!" The goto substitute was "gosh." However, a few years later I was told from someone else's parents that "Oh my gosh" was no good either, as it still held the same meaning. The reality is that words are value free and both individuals and cultures attach meaning to these words. Conversation requires both a sender and receiver, and if the receiver misunderstands the values that the sender attaches to his or her words, then both people suffer. American culture is so divided right now, people can't even agree on what words are taboo anymore. I bet more people are comfortable with the word "fuck" than they are with the word "retarded."

Don't use the word bc it's derogatory in any form. If, it is ok to use that word in lyrics, in the hood, what ever then don't complain about confederate statues, flags, etc. It's a double standard.
